Abstract:To address the issues that traditional water heaters cannot simultaneously detect water temperature, water quality, and water level, and that pipes are prone to freezing, cracking, and leaking in low-temperature environments, as well as to improve water usage safety, a study on a water heater control system was conducted. The system adopts STM32F103C8T6 as the main control chip. It realizes real-time monitoring of water temperature, water quality, and water level through DS18B20 temperature sensor, PH4502C, and water level detection module, and uses relays connected to DC motors to simulate equipment such as heating, water adding, acid-base pumps, and water draining. It detects room temperature via DS18B20 ambient temperature sensor, and triggers sound and light alarm when the room temperature is lower than the set value. The system supports both automatic and manual modes. Users can set the thresholds of water temperature, pH value, and the minimum room temperature through buttons. Manual water draining can be performed when the water temperature is higher than the minimum value and the water level is higher than the minimum level. In addition, it realizes remote control by using WIFI module and allows real-time status checking through OLED display. Through experimental tests, the system has achieved real-time monitoring of water temperature, water quality, water level, and room temperature as well as corresponding control functions, and it can operate safely with good practicability.?
